We welcome you to the Next-Generation as its new level of achievement. We release our new website for all of you to enjoy. We created this website as a shout to the world to show how dedicated we are to our clients and perspective clients. We needed a slight refresher to our website and we got this. Yes, it's almost a total redesign of our website, but hey.. Who doesn't like a fresh new interface to work with? This website has a similar interface as our old site however certain things have been made easier to use including quick purchasing options and instant access to our 1 day test.

We will be now offering 3 new brands including X4 Pro/-AM, X3 Semi-Pro and X2 Amatuer which will offer specific things like free ventrilo and cpu core. We are also launching new pricing schemes that people will not have to put in a coupon code to use anymore. Its simply a lower price, and will offer from time to time specials on certain packages

Hello,

following the maintenance last Monday we plan to perform network upgrades to remaining network segments this upcoming Sunday, September 21, 2008 9pm - 3am CDT.

Network segments being upgrades include Gigabit, Internap and Dedicated bandwidth customers. Also small segment of BGP 100Mbps customers that were not upgraded last Monday.

Even though the maintenance window is 6 hours we do not expect any major downtime. Some customers may experience brief loss of connectivity as some of the switch uplinks have to be moved/upgraded during this maintenance. If you can not reach your server for more than 15 minutes , please open up a ticket with our support through the CRM.

GigEnet's Message

On Sunday, 9/21/08 at 1:00 AM CDT, engineers will be performing network upgrades that will require one of our edge routers to be rebooted. When this takes place, routes over Level(3), Abovenet, and PCCW will be unavailable for up to 10 minutes while BGP is re-established at our second POP.

This maintenace is part of a series of planned upgrades that will take place over the next 90 days to improve network capacity and performance. For this particular maintenance, Gigenet is deploying a routing optimization appliance developed by Internap. This device is expected to decrease latency on all routes by up to 50% once it is installed.
